#138 Wood National Recovery Act

This pressed wood button with sunflower motif and a triangular metal embellishment is from the short two-year time period in U.S. history when the National Recovery Act was in place, from 1933 until 1935, when it was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. The 1975 May-June issue of NBS includes an article picturing known NRA buttons, p. 150-156. Reverse is unmarked with a loop shank. Est. selling price is $100-200.
