This rare pressed wood button with a sunflower-like design is from the short two-year time period in U.S. history when the National Recovery Act was in place, from 1933 until 1935, when it was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. The March 1956 issue of NBS includes an article about this button on p. 88. Some NRA buttons were backmarked, and others were not. This has a plain reverse with a metal loop shank. Est. selling price is $100-200.
